User ID (SLIN) and Password Recovery.
Option 1 - Recover using Recovery QR
If you have printed Recovery QR ID, please use following steps to change your password.
- Scan your Recovery QR with a QR Scanner App. (You can install a free QR Reader app from PlayStore)
- Enter new password twice and press Update Button.
- Log in using Your User ID and new password.
Option 2 - Request Recovery QR by WhatsApp
If you lost your printed Recovery QR ID, you can use WhatsApp CallMeBot to receive Recovery QR link.

Option 3 - Password Recovery By OTP(SMS)
If you lost your printed Recovery QR ID, you can use OTP(SMS) to reset your password.

Option 4 - Request Recovery QR by Email
If you lost your printed Recovery QR ID and Primary Mobile too, please send email to dpu@exams.nie.lk to receive Recovery QR link.
- Email Subject: Password Recovery
- Full Name (According to the National Identity Card)
- SLIN/NIC Number
- Email Address (Submitted to the ExSys Account)
- Mobile Numbers (Submitted to the ExSys Account)
DO NOT send multiple emails for same reason.
Answering recovery emails are subject to number of requests received. So it will take one to five working days.
